Septic Services
-
Regular clean-outs of your septic tank are important for both residential homes and commercial businesses. Typically, these clean-outs are needed every three to five years, although the exact timing can vary based on factors such as the size of the tank and the number of users it serves. It is essential to keep clean-outs as part of your routine septic maintenance to ensure the system functions properly and to prevent any costly issues from arising in the future.
-
Your septic tank may be in need of an emergency clean-out if it has been more than five years since the last time it was pumped; if the toilets are experiencing slow drainage, or if there is noticeable standing water above the drain field. Fortunately, our trained and experienced technicians are fully prepared and available to provide prompt emergency septic tank clean-out service. Don’t wait until a sewage backup disrupts your home or business.

FAQs
-
Fats, oils, and grease (FOG)
These substances might seem harmless as they swirl down your kitchen sink, but within your septic system, they can wreak havoc. FOG in septic tank forms a stubborn layer on top of the water in the septic tank, essentially creating a barricade that slows down or blocks the natural breakdown of solids by beneficial bacteria. This can lead to reduced septic tank capacity, causing the tank to fill up faster than expected and increasing the need for more frequent pumping.
-
When effluent exits the septic tank, it flows into an area of underground pipes and soil called the drain field. Other common terms include absorption field, leach field, and trench.
-
Don't flush material that doesn't decompose easily, like hair, diapers, cigarette butts, matches, or feminine hygiene products.
-
Most solids found in a septic tank fall into one of three categories:
Biodegradable organic solids, such as solid human waste;
Slow biodegradable organic solids, such as vegetable scraps and other cellulosic compounds and toilet paper; and
Non-biodegradable solids, such as pet litter, plastics, and other materials that don’t break down over time.
